Meet Chief Anthony Miceli
Meet Chief Anthony Miceli
Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration from Illinois State University, Police Staff and Command graduate from Northwestern University IL, and a graduate from the senior management institute of Police at Boston University, Chief Anthony Miceli has had a long career of protecting and serving the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin regions.  He first started his career with the Winnebago County Sheriff's department in 1997 in the corrections and worked his way through the ranks and retired as the Deputy Chief in the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department in 2024.

Chief Miceli was has had the pleasure of being a corrections officer, patrol deputy, field training officer, patrol sergeant. swat sergeant, special operations commander, patrol lieutenant, deputy chief and has over 28 years of being in law enforcement and obtained the title of the first police chief in the Village of Machesney Park in 2023.
