- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from Illinois State University
- Police Staff and Command graduate from Northwestern University IL
- Graduate from Senior Management institute of Police - Boston University
- Started my career with the Winnebago County Sheriff’s department in April of 1997 in corrections
- Worked my way through the ranks and retired as a Deputy Chief in the Winnebago county sheriff’s department in Oct 2024 (corrections officer, patrol deputy, field training officer, patrol sergeant. swat sergeant, special operations commander, patrol lieutenant, deputy chief)
- 28 years in law enforcement

A
s the police Chief I am responsible for the overall operations of the Town of Geneva police department. The Town of Geneva consists of eight full time officers including the Chief of Police. On a daily basis, officers of the Town of Geneva, are assigned to assist at the local grade school, patrol the various roadways in the township, and enforce the town ordinances. In the summer months, especially on holidays and on weekends, the officers are assigned to patrol the waterways of Lake Como.
